Logging Syndicated Content Page LoadsBy Will Bontrager Some months ago, I wondered how many people actually syndicate the weekly article. So I decided to find out. A snippet of JavaScript was included with the syndicated content. When the page with the content was loaded into a browser, the JavaScript requested an image from a script on our web site that (1) logged the page load and (2) replied with an a clear GIF image. I was pleasantly surprised. Few site owners had previously emailed me to tell me they were syndicating the articles. Most had just silently done it.
