Murphy Comes VisitingBy Will Bontrager Murphy came visiting last week. The satellite dish went on the blink. My iTunes went on the blink (oh, yes, disaster!). And somebody did something they were not supposed to, or did not do something they were supposed to, when we upgraded hosting accounts. The informal "murphy's law" states that if something can go wrong, it will. Lucky for us, Murphy has visited us only once in long whiles. Anybody know of a sign or chant or anything else that will keep Murphy away? But at least we weren't in Katrina's path, for which we are deeply grateful. Murphy has no power compared to what Katrina exhibited. This page lists some of the scams being perpetrated in Katrina's wake.
