I Made a FeedFlare :-)By Will Bontrager Someone suggested I make a FeedBurner FeedFlare version of the rating system I'm beta testing on this blog. So I did. It's cute, with a text-based visual represetation of the ratings average. The Rate-It FeedFlare page has the XML file URL and other information. To install it, you'll need a feedburner account. They're free. Once you have your account and "burned" your blog, click the "Optimize" tab of your feedburner feed’s control panel. On the next page, click the “FeedFlare” menu item (left side of page). Now you’ll see the page where all the action is. Scroll about halfway down the page to the “Add New Flare” form field. Put http://rate.flowto.info/FeedFlare_Rate-It.xml into the field and click the button. After a moment or two, you’ll see “Rate-It” with some checkboxes at the bottom of the list immediately above the button you clicked. Check the left-most checkbox. Then scroll down and click the “Save” button. You’re live :-) The rating system will now show up on your feedburner blog feed.
