The Go Short URL Control Panel

The Go Short URL control panel software's file name is: GoShortURL.php

Example URL:
http://example.com/go/GoShortURL.php

A password must be provided after the control panel page has loaded and before any URLs can be converted. If you must change your password, do so in file GoShortURLpassword.php

Load the control panel into your browser and bookmark it.

Converting URLs

URLs can be converted into short URLs in either of two ways:

Convert one or more URLs by using the Go Short URL control panel.
Convert a block of text with one or more URLs by using the Go Short URL control panel.

Convert one or more URLs by using the Go Short URL control panel.

This lets you convert one or more URLs into short URLs.

Load the control panel into your browser.

In the text box, type one or more URLs to convert into short URLs. (Put one or more spaces and/or line breaks between each URL.) When ready to convert the URLs, click the button.

The next page will have a short URL, ready to copy 'n paste, for each URL you provided in the text box. It will also have a link for testing the short URL.

Convert a block of text with one or more URLs by using the Go Short URL control panel.

This lets you convert all the http://... URLs in a block of text, an article for example, into short URLs.

Load the control panel into your browser.

Click the "Convert text block" link in the menu bar at the top of the page. (After clicking the link, the next page may be bookmarked so you can go there directly in the future.)

Paste the block of text with URLs to convert into the box provided. Then, click the button.

The next page will have the converted block of text, ready to copy 'n paste, with all http://... URLs converted into short URLs.
