Email .This. Link ...
Create dynamic mailto: links for your web pages that will prompt your site visitors to "Email.This.Link".
Your site visitors click on the link to recommend your web page to their friends. The link pre-fills the subject and body content of the email, in the visitors own email software. All they have to do is type the friend's email address and click "send."
Each click is logged.
This is a perfect utility for websites built with content management or blogging software. Drop some code into your template, and when your page is produced, the correct title and URL are automatically inserted into a mailto: link.
Note- Email .This. Link can also be used with static web pages. It is especially easy to use if the code can be pasted into an file called by SSI or PHP.

More and more, visitors appreciate having an "Easy Prompt" to launch their own email program to email information to friends. It eliminates any concern about providing their own and their friends' email addresses on a form.
The control panel provides graphed totals of links clicked. And it has an one-click download of a CSV version of the entire log file for easy import into your spreadsheet software.

A Note About Browser-based Email
Browser-based email, sometimes called webmail, means email is handled with a browser (like a person does at a Gmail or Hotmail account) instead of with email software running on the person's computer (like Eudora or Thunderbird).
Email .This. Link does not work for browser-based email.
Email .This. Link generates regular HTML mailto: links. HTML mailto: links work only with correctly configured email software running on the person's computer.
