When your client sends you information securely, are you securely viewing and removing it from your server?

To retrieve the information securely and delete it from that server, use Secure View and Remove software.

With the Secure View and Remove control panel on a secure connection, you are handling your client/customer sensitive information as they trust you to do.

A secure server (HTTPS) connection automatically encrypts data flowing between browser and server.

If:

  1. The web page with your form is loaded with an HTTPS URL and the lock is locked (or whatever icon or symbol your browser uses to indicated a secure connection has been established) and

  2. The URL the information is being submitted to is an HTTPS URL,

Then, you can securely transmit the information.

Your hosting company can set you up with a secure form. Or you can use Master Form V4 on your secure server to get client information onto your secure server with a form.

Secure View and Remove Control Panel
Front Page

Let's walk through the Secure View and Remove control panel, step by step.

After you log in to your password protected control panel, you'll arrive at the "front page". Notice on each page of your control panel, navigation links are available on the left, including a link to the User's Manual.

From this initial page, you can select a directory you have previously accessed, or you may type in a new directory that exists on your secure server. Click the button and you will be directed to a listing of the contents of the directory.

From here, you may "View" the file. Or you may "View and Delete".

Clicking "View and Delete" allows you to see the contents of the file so you can copy and paste the information and save to your hard drive. Then the file is placed in a "trash" bin.

Next time you return to that directory's listing, you will see the file ready to delete permanently or it can be restored to the regular directory listing.
