Subject: 500 internal Server error with MasterFeedback I am attempting tp get the MasterWebpageMail going on my redhat 7.1 box. I have perused through the FAQ's and I still cannot get it to work. I have specified the path to perl 5 on my system with is /usr/bin. I used gedit which I installed with the gnome desktop. What am I missing? The web page is at http://24.43.132.187/sign.htm I have also checked my permissions and they are set to 0755 for the MasterFeedback.cgi. What have I missed? |

In response to: 500 internal Server error with MasterFeedback I typed the wrong cgi at the beginning. It should also be MasterFeedback as well |

In response to: 500 internal Server error with MasterFeedback Norris, you path to Perl might be /usr/bin/perl instead of /usr/bin Also, there is a list of things to check at the (URL not available) page. |

In response to: 500 internal Server error with MasterFeedback YOU AND YOUR SCRIPTS ARE THE BEST!!! I thought I thoroughly read your FAQ's and it was right on the money. I had an addt'l space in the #!/usr/bin/perl by the way, I was wondering. What would the cost of a script that would do the following cost? I waned a script to check a vistor's lotto numbers. This is how: I would edit the script on the days of the lotto draws with the updated numbers. I would have boxes set-up for visitors to enter their lotto numbers. It would then check it to see if they match and if so, what prize amount they have won if any. Is this something you could do? |

In response to: 500 internal Server error with MasterFeedback Norris, I'm willing to do it, but you may wish to see if a script with your requirements is already available. http://cgi-resources.com/ is a good place to start. If you can't find what you're looking for, we can determine specifications and then I'll make a bid. From what you describe above, the bid would probably fall somewhere in the $300 to $500 range. |
