Subject: Allowing my customers to edit their web pages

Thanks for your GREAT info.

I have a web site that I provied individual pages for my customers businesses, basically a portal. Do you know of any programs that would allow my customers to edit their page without knowing HTML. For instance, if you were a dentist and wanted to offer a 20% off special for 1 week on the web page that I provide, is there a way to allow you secured access to the page to make make this offer or whatever other content you want to change?

Thanks a million.

Master Site News from http://willmaster.com/master/sitenews/ might work for you, so long as the content may publish as one paragraph. Customers might be taught to put a

<p>
symbol between paragraphs so their content doesn't publish as one big block of text.

For a bit more sophistication, Master Syndicator from http://willmaster.com/master/syndicator/ might be used. It provides a checkbox to automaically insert paragraph tags into the content and to make links out of URLs and email addresses. The control panel is accessed via password.

The syndication code is put into the portal page where the customer's changing content will be inserted.

The license is per domain, but you may install as many copies as you wish on that one domain. Because the control panel is password accessed, you may need to install one copy for each customer -- else they might inadvertently change another customer's page.

Master Syndication Gateway I from http://willmaster.com/master/gateway1/ is similar to Master Syndicator except you can specify that only certain domains can syndicate the content and content can be uploaded for publication at a future date.

Probably one of those will work.
