Can someone help me with a smal enhancement to my CGI/perle script?

Subject: Can someone help me with a smal enhancement to my CGI/perle script?

Hi

Background:

I have a classified ads site which allows anyone to register to place ads on this site.

Different membership levels determine the number of ads that are allowed for a given member. All ads run for 14 days then expire (get closed) automatically. To run an ad longer than 14 days, the member has go login to his/her admin area and change the status to "open". This has the affect of deducting 1 from remaining ads left. To this point all is well.

Problem:

However, the nature of my members means they want longer term exposure. It's inconvenient for them to have to reopen ads. What I am seeking is an enhancement that means that when they create an ad, they can specifiy a new option that says "recycle y/n" and if Y, then "how many times?". that number can be <= remaining number of ads left.

Request:

Can someone help me to incorporate this into the CGI (perle) script ?

the script is a single script for the entire site so hopefully it's not so complicated to someone who understands these things.

I need a quote for this work.
Then, I can grant admin access to my site (cpanel).

If I have to pay for this, let's discuss that.

Many thanks,
Phil

Phil, let me suggest contacting the author of the script you are using. S/He would probably be able to do it faster and with more certainty than someone who would have to study the script before making changes.
