Subject: Cannot setup Reciprocal links

Hello. Recently installed the script in http://mybizwebsolutions.com/cgi-bin.
I access the control panel, enter the new password and it takes me to the Main Menu and when I try to change the "Program Settings/Defaults", it kicks me back to the "enter new password" page again. Does not allow me to make any changes.
Please help,
Jose.

Jose, the data directory either doesn't exist or doesn't have correct permissions. See step 2 of the README.txt file. Note that Unix/Linux directory and file names are case sensitive.

Thanks. The permissions are correct in te mrldata directory. My host company has a "File Manager" in the control panel where you can change permissions. I'm still having a problem after verifying it...
thx

I strongly suggest you use the same FTP program to set permissions that you used to upload the scripts.

If directory permission 766 doesn't work, try 777. If it still doesn't work, delete the mrldata directory and create it anew. This time, try it before doing anything with the permissions.

I re-did the whole thing using the permissions given by the FTP program, but when I try to access the control panel (mrlcp.cgi) through the browser, I get a "Internal Server configuration error 500. i went to the control panel for my site accessed the "File Manager" the host provides. The permissions were set the same as the FTP did. On that control panel, when you click on each *.cgi file it opens it in a remote text editor for you edit if you wish and then save it. I did not change anything, but just saved it and now I do get your control panel (mrlcp). But still the original problem remains...

Jose, it's time to contact support at your hosting company. If you've got all permissions correct and it's still not working then they'll need to look at it.
