Subject: Can't See MasterPreInstallationTester

I've tried to install the MasterPreInstallationTester today, but it doesn't appear in the browser. I chmod'ed the permissions to 755, etc.

Any other suggestions? I notice there isn't a path specified in the script.

Thanks in advance,

Roy

Roy, post the URL to the script. Also, which browser are you using?

It may be that the source code has unbalanced HTML tags when it displays the control panel. I'll try to duplicate the problem.

Thanks, Will. I'm haing the same problem with MasterForm V3. I notice that neither of these scripts have paths to the servers, but maybe they don't need them?

In any case, the URLs are:

http://www.webservertimes.com/cgi-bin/MasterFormV3.cgi

and

http://www.webservertimes.com/cgi-bin/MasterPreInstallationTester.cgi

Thanks for posting the URLs.

What's occurring is an Internal Server Error.

(Note that if you use IE, it may be showing you it's "friendly" error page, which is actually often not informative at all. If you're using IE and you're seeing its friendly error page, then turn off "friendly HTTP error messages" at Tools|Internet Options...|Advanced)

The Internal Server Error can have any of a number of reasons. You'll see a list of some common reasons at (URL not available)#helpiamtryingtoinsta

You'll probably find the reason on that list.
