Content Carousel

Installation Instructions

Upload these six files with an FTP program into a directory 
that can run perl CGI scripts. Upload them as plain text 
files (not binary).

cc.cgi           (the content delivery script)
ccCP.cgi         (the control panel)
cc.pm            (helper file)
ccCP.pm          (helper file)
ccManual.cgi     (user's manual, access via control panel)
ccStatistics.cgi (statistics viewer, access via control panel)

Give all files 755 permissions.

cc.cgi is the file that actually delivers the content. That 
file may be renamed, if so desired. No other files may be 
renamed.

Type the URL of ccCP.cgi into your browser. That is the 
Content Carousel control panel.

When you first access the control panel, it will request a 
password be assigned for future access.

The user's manual is a menu item in the control panel. It 
has information you want to know.

NOTE: To import Master Merry-Go-Round data files, use the 
      control panel "Preferences" link.

If the control panel won't remember your password or if you 
add content and it never shows up in the control panel, then 
Content Carousel may have been unable to create the data 
directory.

In that case, use your FTP program and navigate to the 
directory where the Content Carousel scripts are installed. 
There, create a directory named: ccData

Give ccData 777 permissions.

You are now good to go :)
