About the Bontrager Team

Will Bontrager (programmer, writer)

Will began programming computer software shortly after he booted up his first computer in 1983, an Osborne portable with its pre-DOS C/PM operating system, tiny built-in monitor, two 5-1/4 floppy drives (no hard drive).

In 1997, he began programming for the Internet and hasn't stopped yet. Quite possibly he continues to pursue programming in various languages just so he can experience that "Aha" euphoria that comes from untangling a particularly recalcitrant "bug".

In his spare time, he writes "how-to-do" software magic articles and tutorials.

Mari Bontrager (assistant)

Mari's training in graphic design fueled her initial interest in website development. The geekier side of web development was assimilated by associating with Will, her husband, and his role as software programmer. Her main job is to accomplish and coordinate the behind the scenes functions required to run a software business.
